The RE/MAX City Centre summer movie series has been a perfect addition to summertime in Sioux City. A recent showing of the Sandlot also featured local legend JD Scholten. JD recently made a movie-like comeback with the Sioux City Explorers at the young age of 44. He has since been featured on ESPN, Barstool Sports, and the New York Daily Post for his unblemished 3-0 record. He signed autographs and movie goers were able to enjoy one of the most classic sports movies or all-time. My son and I enjoyed some father son time this weekend at Whispering Creek Golf Course located in the Morningside area of Sioux City, IA. It was the perfect start to the day that included 9 holes of golf in the AM and cheering on our Iowa Hawkeye football team in the afternoon.
